Over the years, Coffee grown in Cuba has gradually reached external markets. This is the first time we receive a lot from Cuba... and most likely the first time Cuba Coffee is sold in the Middle East. We are thankful to our partner who developed over the years a sustainable relationship with local farmers, the local community and cooperative to export surplus of coffee. This coffee is grown in the Sierra Maestra mountain in the east of the island known for its mountainous terrain. This lot has clear notes of Hazelnut and maple syrup.
Some of the challenges Cuba faces in expanding its coffee industry is the frequent Hurricanes impacting the stability and natural development of the coffee trees and an old infrastructure negatively inpacting the timely processing of the coffee.
