The coffee grows at an altitude of approximately 1,500 meters on a volcanic soil and a humid climate, ideal to produce high quality coffee.
The coffee is produced by multiple small farms, part of the Fedeconcagua cooperative, among first cooperative in the industry globally, to produce fair trade certified coffee.
As the results La Delicia is a Specialty Grade coffee very popular with lovers for its balanced taste.
The cooperative helps its members to improve the quality and command higher price points, respectively improve farmers’ living conditions. The cooperative also represents the rights of small farmers and support education, medicine and opportunities for the women of the Mayan families.
